Grandiose Apologies

As you may have noticed, there’s been nothing posted here for the best part of six months. The reason for this is simple: I haven’t written anything over those six months, and various efforts to get that monkey off my back have come to nothing.

I’m about to vanish from my locality and my Internet connection for a week or so. Hopefully, I might just have something to say when I return. In the meantime, take care.

Certainly, keeping an eye on him could be tiring, but we’d been friends for years, and I’d known as much for at least that length of time. Of the Bible and the Codex

Among a certain cadre of excitable and speculative historians, the Alderman’s Bible has long been a favoured topic of discussion. Looming out of the Dark Ages – now known to more respectable members of the historical fraternity as the period of Völkerwanderung – it teases and taunts even as it ultimately disappoints. In fact, the body of speculation surrounding the Bible is ultimately more substantial than the extant fragments of the Bible itself.

Now Kherndaur and Daevrys arrive there: the former with plans of establishing a new order of his own, the latter as his uncertain helpmate.
